Among his projects were New York's Prospect Park (1865-1873), Chicago's Riverside subdivision, Buffalo's park system (1868-1876), the Niagara Reservation at Niagara Falls (1887), Boston's "Emerald Necklace" park system, and the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Google his name (spelled Olmsted, not Olmstead) for a wealth of biographical material, as well as photographs of his work. Chris
