My biggest stone wall is finding the parents of Lydia WATROUS, b. ~1749, who married Samuel BUCKINGHAM. The book, Waterous, Jerry E., The Families of Jacob Waterhouse, (Higginson Book Co., Salem, MA, 1993), has her listed as the daughter of Adam WATROUS, but there is no documentation given. The family my have been in Lyme, CT, and I don't know what county Lyme would be in, in that time frame. Any suggestions for records to prove her parentage, and where to find the record? Sue Wilson
