Researching Patrick and Johanna Kelleher Bray of Portland and Middletown, CT. Patrick was born in Imogella, County Cork, Ireland and Johanna in Castlemartyr, County Cork in the late l830's or early l840's. There first son was born in NY in l864. Patrick worked in the quarries. They were related to the Kenneficks of Portland/Middletown. Any assistance appreciated in finding parents' names. Kathleen

I have many ancestors that were either born in or came to E.Haddam, married and died there. Would say have been fairly lucky in that these guys just stayed in the same place or tended to stay in the state. My CHAPMAN line started with Robert of Saybrook, then the line migrated to E Haddam, my grandfather was Samuel C. CHAPMAN who did move on to Chaplin CT. I have two BRAINERD lines, from the same Brainerd parents, Daniel BRAINERD and Hannah SPENCER. I also have two GATES lines, which if not mistaken go back to Capt George GATES and wife Sarah OLMSTEAD. VENTRES, ACKLEY, ANDREWS, KIRBY, LEE, SMITH, MACK, HUNGERFORD, ROWLEY, FULLER ,WINSLOW, GRAY/GREEN, FLETCHER, PORTER, GRISWOLD, STEVENS CHURCH, DOAN/E, I also have Huldah MAINWARING, b. E. Lyme CT 1800, married Beri GATES 1819, in E Haddam,died E. Haddam 1866. Would appreciate any info on her parents. All of these people were in the 1600's 1700's and 1800's.
