    3. William R. Randall, I believe that is a 'PAF' file which is a database file for 'Personal Ancestral File', the genealogy program from the Latter Day Saints. The latest edition of this file is available at their website www.familysearch.org , for FREE ! If you have a high speed internet connection, it only takes a few seconds to download. The installation process is easy, too. I just downloaded the program, this morning and opened the Stowell.paf file, which I think is the one that you want to look at. Lots of Comstocks in it. When you get to the home page click 'Order/download Products' on the bar at the top of the page, then click 'Software Downloads - Free', then choose the top option - Personal Ancestral File 5.2.18.0 - Multi-Language (9.7 MB) and click the download button. They require you to fill out a registration with the normal questions on it, but you get the program that allows you to see the data you want. Actually, the program looks pretyy nice. Good Luck, Joe

    3. Joseph Klaudi, Thank you very much, this is a very helpful suggestion and I will try it. I realized it was a LDS program, but did not realize it was available. and the price is right!
