    3. I think that's one of the hardest parts of this research into TFW, Sr. and Andrew. Although census records say that TFW's parents were Irish I don't have any hard proof. I found with another line that if I hadn't researched the family further we would be thinking that they were Scottish rather than Irish. The McGarry's were from Ireland but the children were born in Scotland while they were awaiting transportation to the US during the potato famine. On census records it said that Annie was born in Scotland but she is of Irish heritage since both parents were Irish. It's a tough nut to crack to find his roots.
