    1. Quinn s and Grahams in Higganum
    2. Monica Bennett
    3. I am looking for Patrick Quinn of Dublin Ireland, who arrived in NYC, went to Higganum where he lived from 1860 something until about 1874, when he moved back to Brooklyn. He may have had a brother John, and a sister Mary. He was married to Catherine Owens, and then Anna Graham. Anna's parents were Sylvester and Rose. She had sisters Elizabeth and Mary. Mary married a Quinn unrelated to Patrick. There may have been a brother, James. - Monica Warpthree@msn.com

I found this line only a month or so ago and am still searching for Edward LEE's parents and where he originated. So far, all the on-line texts and websites have been lacking any information on the family, so I'm still searching. I have far more on the family lines of the wives. Abia SMITH, wife of Abijah LEE, has lines that go back to the BAILEY, LEEK, GERARD, BECKWITH, BACKUS, BAKER, LEEK and BUSHNELL families. Abigail STEVENS, wife of Edward LEE, has ties to FLETCHER, WARD, and STAFFORD. I'm still looking for the family of Mary WEST of Middletown (b. 1696, d. 1752), the wife of Lemuel LEE. Jane

    3. Hello friends. These are the CT surnames I am most interested in at present. I have specifiied geographic areas as well. I look forward to hearing from cousins and allied families. SQUIRE(S): All descendants of immigrant George who arrived at Fairfield from Concord, MA in 1644. Removed to New Milford in early 19th century. Removed to North Haven in early 20th century. BROCKETT: All descendants of immigrant John, one of the founders of New Haven. Especially seeking information regarding Hezekiah (son of Moses, who lived Hamden and married Mehitabel Candee), Justus T. (son of Hezekiah) and Justus T. (son of the first Justus T.) RANSBOTHAN: This family had a homestead in Riverton as of the late 1800s. Their 1904 family Bible spells the surname Ransbothan. However, this appears to be a non-traditional spelling. Variations are Ramsbotham and Ramsbottom. This is my most difficult family to research. ROBINSON: Of North Haven. Particularly interested in the wive's of Brocketts. SOMERS: Of Brrokfied in the mid- to late 1800s. HUNGERFORD: All descendants of immigrant Thomas. Thanks. Robert squires >

    2. Nicole
    3. Hello All! This is my roll call of sorts (for at least CT): I am a direct descendant of Thomas Carrier and Martha ALLEN. I go through the line as follows: >Thomas Carrier(born in Wales 1629) and Martha Allen(hung as a witch in Salem in 1692) >Richard Carrier (born 19 Jul 1674, died 11 Nov 1749) married Elizabeth SESSIONS(born 24 Apr, 1672, Died 6 Mar 1703/4) >John Carrier (born 16 Mar 1696/97, died 1 Mar 1745/46 in Siege of Cape Breton) married Mary BROWN(born 29 Dec 1696, died ?) >Titus Carrier (born 23 Aug 1733, died 26 Jul 1796 Crown Point Exp., 1755; Rev War service, ref DAR patriots page 116) married Mercy COOK(born 17 Feb 1744/45, died 8 May 1819) >Titus Carrier (born 24 Jul 1781, Died 3 Nov 1848) married Mehitable WATROUS(born May 20 1786, died 6 Dec 1876) >John Carrier (b ? d?) married Adeline CHILDS >John A. Carrier (born 7 Feb, 1855, Died ? ) Married Caroline SIMPSON (born ? Died ?) >Alfred Brainard Carrier Sr (born 12 Jul 1882, died 27 May 1958) married Florence COOPER (born 5 Mar 1888, died 7 Mar 1952) >Alfred Brainard Carrier Jr (born 16 Oct 1916, died 29 Dec 1957) married Elizabeth Ethel Dey( born 22 Dec 1922, still living) and then my mom. So what I am looking for is any information on the wives lineage. I know that Mehitable Watrous is a descendant of Jacob Watrous/Waterhouse, one of the original Saybrook Colony founders. In that respect I am looking for any information further back from Jacob Watrous/Waterhouse (his ancestors) Also, Elizabeth Sessions is descended from the Spoffords, which has been pretty solidly traced back to the tenth century. In addition, Caroline Simpson is the daughter of Captain Edward M Simpson and Harriet Johnson, so any information further back from that would be helpful Is Mercy Cook related to Capt. James Cook? I have no information back from her And what about Childs? Anyway, I will take anything concerning any one of the families on my list above! Also, does anyone know who Thomas' parents were? I know that is Wales, but I remain ever hopeful! I know the one side of Martha Allen is Ingalls, but I would like to know how it traces back in ENgland.I send many thanks for any information that anyone can provide on any of this information! I have been trying to on the LI Rooters list but still no luck. There was a Samuel Russell in Sag Harbor where Stephen was and my have been his father but so far no proof. I am hoping there may be another family in CT that may have noted his lineage. 1. John C. REED/READ/REID, REED'S GAP, Durham, Middlesex Co., CT
    2. Did J. C. Reed really come from Holland (b 1759) to Durham, CT as his son Salmon's census information said? Was his name John, or Johann, and where was he when he first married and had his 5 (?) sons John, Wm., Martin, Salmon and Samuel? Who was Rebecca (?) whom he married? Did the boys have different mothers to explain their distant birth dates? Did he spend time in NY? What did he do before 1785 or so when his boys were born? Was he always a farmer and laborer? Why come to Durham from Holland? Did he arrive in the middle of the Revolution? Does he have connections with other Colonial families? I could really use some good clues here, so if you have an inquiring mind and some sources to suggest I would really appreciate a bit of help. He is my 4g- grandfather and insists on remaining a mystery despite my best efforts to uncover his past. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Carol H. Boggs

    3. I too am new to the list. Seeking information on James STERLING born 17 May 1770, son of Daniel STERLING (family covered in 1909 The Sterling Genealogy by Albert M. Sterling) of Haddam and Lyme, CT. However, James' line is not followed further. Daniel married February 1763 at Haddam to Demas MORSE. Whose daughter is she? Could Demas be a corruption of Damaris? James and brother Daniel (the younger) moved c. 1793 to Westmoreland, Oneida Co., NY and their sister Rachel and husband Benjamin CONE moved to Chenango Co., NY. James and Rachel's families moved on c. 1818+ to Athens Co., OH. Seeking to prove the Athens Co., OH James STERLING is identical to the Haddam, Middlesex Co., CT James STERLING. Linda K.

My order was placed in October of 1998 and as of this posting I have not received the order or a refund after numerous contacts with Steven Jensen at this firm . In his occasional replies he repeatedly gave false information to me as to the status of the order and cashed the check when mentioned stopping payment on it .I have copies of all documents and correspondences for those interested . Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the United States Postal Inspectors , they have informed me that even they can't order this company to give a refund , but may seek criminal charges . I guess small claims court is next . If you are seeking genealogy resources......consider my experiences with this "Firm".
