------- Forwarded message follows ------- Date sent: Fri, 30 Jul 2004 13:41:34 -0600 From: Buch419@aol.com Subject: Sears/Hitchcock To: CTMIDDLE-L-request@rootsweb.com Joshua and Rebecca Mayo Sears moved to Middletown in about 1746 with several children. They also had several children in Middletown. Joshua died there in 1753. I am trying to locate where he is buried and possibly his children. He had a daughter, Sarah, born either in Yarmouth before they moved or in Middletown. I would live evidence of her birth. Sarah married Samuel Hitchcock around 1760 in New Milford, CT (?) and she died in New Marlborough, MA in 1771. Can someone help me find information on Sarah and/or Samuel Hitchcock. Samuel was also a Rev. Soldier and died in 1801. Janet ------- End of forwarded message -------

I think I finally got them sorted out and sources referenced. The way I understand the line is James Wright and Sarah ?, had son James who married Temperance Whittlesley, who then had son James that married Submit Buell. Now can anyone help me with the following? I believe Benjamin Wright b 1760, son of James & Submit, fought in the Revolution, was awarded 600 acres in NY for his service, married Susannah Murray and finally settled in Bergen NY. Can anyone verify that? Also, who are the parents of James Wright who married Sarah? And what was Sarah's last name?
