Hi Listers, In the early days of colonial CT people got tired of travelling a long way to Church so Fairfield and Stratfield each gave a portion of their land to a newly formed town of Stratfield (with its own church). Some years later the town of Stratfield was absorbed into the newly formed city of Bridgeport. The Stratfield Congregational Church and old burying ground are still there in the side of Bridgeport toward Fairfield. Regards, Bob Hull ===== Robert E.
