One if you go to: www.usgenweb.com and go to Connecticut. Bridgeport has a wonderful website. It will give you the information for town clerk and library. I would sugget you get a death certificate which would cost you only $5.00. The library will do a search for a death notice if published and that will cost you $5.00 per notice. Than you should follow it up at the cemetery. Sometimes there are other relatives buried in the same plot. Connecticut is one of the best states to work with when doing genealogy.
