In different census records he states he was born in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont. Says he was married in Vermont to Annis Meeker. In 1850 he is in Essex Co., NY and in 1852 he is in Allegany, Cattaraugus Co., NY. He spends the remainder of his life there. He was a tailor by trade.
