I now have 2100 of our 3100+ member Humphrey database uploaded. ---------------------------------------------------- We’re looking for living descendants of Jonas, also of Ozias Sr. & Ozias Jr., born 1763 & 1789, respectively, in Simsbury, Connecticut. Also, descendants of David Carlisle Humphreys, born 1741 in Ireland, immigrated to Greenville, Virginia about 1764. We have a Humphrey surname DNA project at FamilyTreeDna (FTDNA), & we’ll subsidize DNA testing of participants in order to solve the genealogical puzzles: who were the parents of Michael Humphrey of Lyme Regis, born 1620, & what's the common ancestry of Jonas & Michael? We’ve enjoyed some initial success with the DNA testing to delineate & verify Humphrey lineages in New England & Europe.
