    1. Re: Miller Family
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Semple, Miller, Sparrow Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TZ.2ADE/1118.1359.2053.1.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I'm going to send for Samuel's death certificate. Yes his middle initial was W. He lived 310 Flax Hill Rd in Norwalk. I always suspected the Miller's and Semple's knew each other in Tipperary. Once even thought they had imigrated together, but have found in census records Samuel was 1880 and Miller's 1882. Eliza (Sparrow) Miller, widowed in 1879, brought 8 or so of her children. I haven't yet found any ship records. We visited the Kilcooley Abbey graveyard a couple of summers ago. Didn't have a lot of time and the flies were swarming around as bad as I've ever seen. Maybe the spirits didn't want us there - who knows. I corresponded with the Rev and she sent me some data which was mostly not applicable. She led me to understand that maybe the Miller's dated back into the Palatine imigration from the Continent, but don't have any data. In fact, I have nothing beyond Eliza and her husband Charles Miller except his father was named John. I do have deeper records on the Sparrow line. I'll let you know if and when I get a death certificate. Bob
