I have a JOSIAH AND RACHAEL OSBORN BENNETT in my family tree. Josiah b.1770 d. 1841 Ridgefield, Ct. Rachael b.1771 Ridgefield d. ? they were married Mar. 8, 1789 Ridgefield, Ct. Rachael was the dau/ Aaron and Hannah Morehouse Osborn. They had a son DANIEL b. Aug. 1794 Ridgefield d. 1877 Ridgefield. In Fishkill, NY on Nov. 21, 1818 he married a MARY NICHOLS b. 1799 Pound Ridge, NY d. 1877 Ridgefield. She died abt. 5 days before her husband. I am still researching this family. I'm hoping to prove that DANIEL is my 2xgr.grandfather. Daniel and Mary had these children and possibly more. My 2xgrandmother JANE ELIZA BENNETT b. 1833 d.1917 wife #2 of CHARLES DAVIS of Wilton. MARY ANN b. 1829 d. 1849 #1 wife of CHARLES DAVIS, CHARLES b. 1839 c. 1906, ESTHER b. 1846. This family lived in southern part of Ridgefield near Wilton line.
