Hoping to find out more info. on my gggrandparents WILLIAM P. SMITH b. 1840 d? & CAROLINE (POLLY) CRAWFORD b. 1830 d.? They lived in Norwalk and according to a 1870 Norwalk census, there were 4 children. Caroline was 10 yrs. older then William and there are 2 of the children who might have been hers by previous marriage as William would have been only 14-15yrs old when he became a father. They are GEORGE 16YR (1854) HOMER 14 YRS (1856) then WILLIAM 10YRS b1860 d. 1945 Norwalk and my ggrandmother ANGELINE (Angie) 2 yrs. b. 1868 d. 1934 Norwalk. I know she had bro. William but my mother never heard abt. the other 2 boys. Also on this 1870 census with them was a LOUISE CRAWFORD 62YRS. (1808) Angie married a LUTHER MARTIN WRIGHT 1867-1936. They married in 1888/89 So. Norwalk and lived there the rest of there lives. They produced 7 children. The only thing I know abt. WILLIAM P. SMITH, SR. is that he worked in a Lock Shop and that on the 1880 Norwalk census he was with wife #2 MARY E. 29YRS. (1851) and Angie 12 yrs. I lost track of him after this census. I am trying to tie CAROLINE CRAWFORD with the JOTHAM AND SELECTA JARVIS CRAWFORD family. Does anyone have these people in their family tree? Sandee from NH
