I will "hunt "up those probate records although I did search for them at one time at the Ct. state library but found nothing. However, there wa noone free to help me either so that may explain it. I found throughout my research that My 4th ggrandmother, Lucy Ann Brush has been confused with another Lucy but my Lucy was married only once to Silas Smith Downs. Sometimes in family lines given names are repeated so often such as in my Downs and Lounsbury lines, that even I have gotten confused more than once. However the repeatition of names in each generation has helped me to determine my ancestry. I found it interesting that there is not one repeating name in my Mead line.
