Hello, I am a new subscriber. I would appreciate any help in having someone look up a street directory address in 1931 give or take a few years. This is the story as it was told to me. My husband was born on August 16, 1931 in Shelton Ct. His mother said that they were living at 200 Division St. Their names were Irene and Louis Tetreault but Louis rented the apartment in the name of Louis Parker because he said that the people in the area did not like French Canadians. That's what he told his wife so they registered as Parker. Louis was a weaver at one of the mills in town. They did not stay in Shelton more than a year after My Husband was Born. Roland J Tetreault is his name.
