Norwalk is a pretty good size town/city. There are many cemeteries there so do your research before you come. Some of the cemeteries are in safe areas, others are in not so good areas. We are from Northern Wisconsin. Some of our ancestors had settled in Norwalk, so we decided to visit there. Downtown Norwalk there is this beautiful old cemetery , that is pretty much gated and fenced, but the gate was open so we went in and started to look around. We didn't stay long as we found several homeless men were living in the cemetery. There was a mattress in bushes and we could see a man sleeping on one and then in another place where there was a mattress and alot of personal junk. I really would have liked to have seen more of the headstones in that cemetery, but we just didn't feel safe in there. So if you go make sure it is safe. >
