Jan 1836, Scotland), mother of John Silliman Macnie (b. 1874, Newburgh-on-the-Hudson, NY). Married in or after 1867 (the date her husband emigrated to the US from Scotland). May died between 1874 and 1880. Not sure if she was married or died in Fairfield County, but thought I'd try to find out. Add'l identifying information: May was born in Connecticut (no idea when); her mother's name was Deborah. Deborah was a widow by 1880; she was living in Easton, Fairfield, Connecticut, with May's son and widowed husband at that time.
