    3. My grandfather, Charles Gray, and most of his family were hatters in Norwalk. You didn't have to be in Danbury to be in that profession. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 8:48 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CTFAIRFI] CTFAIRFI-D Digest V04 #64 On The Digest I have noticed some inquiries about Boughton St., Danbury I am trying to find a connection to my grandmother ANNIE McCLOSKEY / McCLUSKEY, b. 1851 New Castle, England, d. 1910 Norwalk, CT. My Grandfather, CHARLES VALENTINE b. Brooklyn, NY 1856 d. 1918 Norwalk, CT 1918 and was a hatter in Norwalk. I thought (possibly) he may have met her in nearby Danbury, or he may have worked in the hat industry in Danbury. BELOW: I found these McCLOSKEY'S in Danbury. Does anyone know anything about one or more? I could not find any McCLOSKEY'S / McCLUSKEY'S in Norwalk.
