I have recently documented Thomas's Revolutionary service, and if he is also your ancestor you can use him for DAR or SAR membership. I have not identified Jabez's parents, but I think he is a descendent of Tobias Saunders of Rhode Island. However, I have not been able to prove it, and I have not worked on that line for several years. There is a reference to a Jabez Saunders of Plymouth in an old issue of NEHGR, but that is a misreading of the colonial handwriting for Jabez Launders Jabez's wife was Abigail Platt the daughter of Josiah4 Platt.
