It's also *very helpful to post the town/locality in the header of your query, as well. Since town records are held at the town level in CT, knowing even a vague idea of the town, greatly helps folks help you. :-D If you are familiar with the town, you may want to go to the Fairfield Co. CT pages at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ctfairfi, then click on the "Town Index" link and then scroll down to the towns. Wherever possible, we have listed newspapers and other resources which may help you with your search. Since the obituary would have been within the last few years, checking with the newspaper in the town in which Sophia lived/died (and perhaps some local neighboring newspapers, too), might help you.
