There is a local paper for Westport called the Westport News. They should be able to help. If not, try the Connecticut Post located in Bridgeport CT. In 1981 it was called the Bridgeport Post. They cover Westport. Another paper to try would be the Norwalk Hour, which also covers Westport. I think you can call for the Obit.
