    1. NEED ASSISTANCE RE: Enos Booth b. 1810 in Conn.
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TZ.2ADE/4490 Message Board Post: Hello: Have my back against the wall on this one would appreciate any help. My great great great grandfather was Enos R. Booth. According to the 1850 Census in Hardyston Twp, Sussex County, NJ it says he was born in Connecticut and was 40 years of age. Many of his children also use Connecticut to list their fathers place of birth. Except my great great grandfather (Enos' son) used Bath, New York. I tend to believe that Enos was born in Conn. and later must have lived in Bath, NY. Enos died at a young age...in his 40's and during a time that there were no vital records in NJ. I cant find a grave for him...and it seems that he has been lost in time. I need to learn more about him...especially who his parents were if I were to continue work on my Booth line. I am sort of dead ended at him. If there is anyone who ever comes across this name or if anyone does research at the State Archives in Hartford could help me i would appreciate it very much. Thanks, JIM BOOTH Highland Mills, Orange County, New York [email protected] PS: Not certain if Enos was from Fairfield...but i am posting here just in case
