The 1900 census had finally yielded some results in my BALUNAS search. Thanks to Ancestry.com and their index of the CT>1900 census, I found the BALUNAS family in Bridgeport under the name of BALIMAS. The family was Sylvester BALIMUS, Anastasia BALIMUS {who was my great grandfather's sister} and their two children: Ella BALIMUS {Who is actually Ella DUVAL ==Her father was Anastasia's first husband, Joseph DUVAL} and Tilly which I think is a nickname for PAULINA. They lived on Ridge Avenue. Ella BALUNAS is buried in Bridgeport in the BALUNAS plot in St. Michaels in 1945. So I think the family had ties to the area and they bought the plot while living there. They are originallyfrom Waterbury. I can do look ups in the 1900 CT census for anyone who does not have Ancestry.com. It was very helpful to me. Judy
