I am most interested in contacting any researcher of this family. As found in the 1930 Census - Living at 80 Clifford St., Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., CT Frank L. Whitney, age 47, age at marriage 27, born Conn., mail carrier. Lillian, wife, age 44, age at first marriage 25, born Conn. Kenneth, son, age 19, born CT, occ: machinist at machine factory. Harold B., son, age 17, born CT, occ: sales clerk, electic appliance. Florena, daughter, age 13, born CT, attends school. Henry White, father-in-law My great-great uncle, Henry WHITE was born in Saint-Cesaire de Rouville, Quebec in 1861, the son of Marc LEBLANC & Rosalie LABRECQUE. I have this ancestry to share, as well as family photos. Henry's family, as found in 1900 - 1900 US Census at Bridgeport, Connecticut, Fairfield County, Roll 132 Book 1, Page 239- Living at 498 Hallett Street: Henry F. White, age 38, born Sept. 1861, married 17 years, born Canada Fr., arrived in US 1864, in US 36 years; occ: polisher, silver; months not employed: 0; can read, write and speak English; rents in a house. Sarah, wife, age 36, born June 1863; married 17 years, 5 children, all living; born in CT, father born Canada Fr., mother born Ireland; literate. All children born in Conn.: Elizabeth (Lillian), daughter, born Sept. 1883, age 16; inspector in silver shop, literate. Florence, daughter, born Oct. 1888, age 11, attends school, literate. Harold, son, born May 1892, age 8, attends school, literate. Mary, daughter, born Oct. 1893, age 6. (Mabel Rosalie?) Lewis, son, born July 1987, age 2. (French spelling would be Louis) They had at least 2 other sons: Hillaric, b. about 1901, and Leroy, b. about 1906, both b. in Conn. I also believe that Henry & Sarah's daughter Florence first married Andrew LUCAS, about 1909 and had one son, Edgar LUCAS, b. 1910 in Conn.; then Florence married Frederick SHEEHAN about 1918, and had another son, Fred E. SHEEHAN who was born 23 March 1919. This younger Fred E. married a woman by the name of Edna. The information from the database on Ancestry.com gave the following information for one son of Lillian (Elizabeth) WHITE and her husband Frank or Franklin WHITNEY: Kenneth Franklin Whitney, b. 3 NOV 1910 in New Haven, CT, d. 15 DEC 1966 in Monroe, CT Married on 15 AUG 1932 in Blessed Sacrament Church, Bridgeport, CT to Edna May RADEL, daughter of George & Mary Casserly, b. 9 AUG 1910 in Bridgeport, CT; died 23 AUG 1989 in Crystal River, Florida. Three children, 1. (female), living, married ____ Degenerro; 6 children. 2. (male), living, married _____ Frances; 3 children. 3. (male), living, married _____ Chittem, 4 children.
