    3. Hi Edith, I live in Bethel, CT, and Putnam Park Road is what we also call Route 58 that heads down in to Redding, CT. I do not recall a cemetery along that road or did you mean that he lived on that road when he died? We have a couple of larger current cemeteries in town, one is a Catholic cemetery and the other is sort of the "town" cemetery. By the way, you can go to maps.google.com and get a pretty good view of the town and that road if you like.... You could write to the Bethel Town Clerk to request a copy of his death certificate. There is a good chance that it will delineate where he was buried. I would offer but work outside of town so cannot get in to the Town Clerk's office myself during working hours. A resource for the information is at: http://www.vitalrec.com/cttowns1.html#Bethel If you do, and since you appear to be from out of the area, I can probably head in to the cemetery some weekend and take a photo for you once you find out which one it is in. Good luck in your search! --Rob On Fri, 2006-05-26 at 14:24 +0100, Edith Talbot wrote: > HI All, > > An ancestor NORMAN D TALBOT died at 79, Putnam park road bethal, in > 1983, would anyone be able to advise where he may be buried or cremated, > or any advice as to how I may be able to find out any info on him, born > 1895 in IL > Father was DAVID TALBOT born Scotland uk mother JANE maiden surname > HATELY > Any help welcome > > > edith talbot > > > > ============================== > Search the US Census Collection.
