My grandfather and several others owned boats and were oystermen also. Most of them also belonged to the SNBC (So. Norwalk Boat Club). The earliest I go back is the late 1880's early 1900's. It is possible my family knew your family. I can look up census info for you as I have access to Heritage Quest. Can I have a few more recent names and maybe some birth dates and also Adam H spouse so I can help you out better? I live in PA but visit CT on occasion so I might be a good resource for you. I have a yearbook from 1930 Norwalk High if you find that any relatives might have graduated at this time. I also have a 1939 Nat Guard/Militia book for CT which I could look in to see if your ancestors were in any military at this time. However, it is not indexed and is very time consuming to search through. Another thing, the library has a great website where you can look into the index of the Norwalk Hour so yo! u may look up obituary dates and contact them to get a copy (only certain years are available though).
