According to records of others Stephen was b. 1723 in Stratford, Fairfield Co., CT and d. 1802 or 1811 in Susquehanna, PA or Kent, Litchfield, CT. or Georgia, VT. Supposedly he was the first adult bur. in Center Cem. My husband would like to take a trip and visit his Fairchild ancestors bur. places. His line moved to Cuyahoga Co., OH then to Hancock Co., IL. His grandfather moved to Indiana where the line remained.
