Surnames: Nichols Darrow Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TZ.2ADE/2268.2496.1.4.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: There has been a great deal of speculation as to this particular Samual Nichols, as there were several individuals living in CT with the same name during this time period. Samual Nichols and Millicent Darrow were married in the Wilton Congregational Church in Wilton, Fairfield Co., CT. The library in Wilton has a photocopy of these records from which I personally extracted this information. This couple never lived in or near New Haven. This is someone's erroneous attempt to link this couple to a location. I did not find a son by the name of Timothy in these records, and I do not believe that he is associated with them. It has been nearly a decade since I worked on this line, but I am sure that the couple only had two children: Jesse & Samuel. Timothy is no doubt from one of the other Samuel Nicols of that time period living in CT (perhaps the one folks associated with New Haven). That is my best intel on the topic.
