Westchester County Genealogical Society (NY) Upcoming Meeting On Saturday, February 11, 2006, The Westchester County Genealogical Society will present “The Use of Catholic Sacramental Records in Genealogy Research: Looking for Family History in all the Right Places” a talk by Kathleen Dodds at their meeting at 10am. The meeting will be held at the Aldersgate Methodist Church, 600 Broadway in Dobbs Ferry (across from Mercy College on route 9). Guests are welcome ($3 donation is requested). There will be refreshments and genealogical networking starting at 9:30am. Ms Dodds will present examples of different register as well as deciphering Latin entries and dealing with archaic handwriting.
