    3. I have an Abagail Canfield (1665-1724) married to John Staples in Fairfield. Her parents were Thomas Canfield and Phoebe Crane. Abagail was born in Milford, New Haven County. Perhaps Elizabeth belonged to this family. I also have multiple Sherwoods, some Turneys and Sturges'. Bill Staples, WE (Worker Emeritus) ws-geneal@comcast.net Unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes. Researching Staples, Morgan, Cosman, Wygant, Sherwood in Ulster County,NY and Fairfield County, Conn. Holmes, Elms, DeHart on Staten Island,NY.
