She was b. in CT, married in NYC in 1866 to Ludlow Traver. Lived in NYC until she died in the 1940s. I have her marriage cert that gives her age as 19, but her Civil War widow's pension has an age that would put her at 16 at her marriage. Ludlow was my ggrandmother's brother. Would like to know more about that family's CT connections since all my direct ancestors converged in Fairfield Co. in the 1880s. Interested in Carrie's birthplace, also who were her parents.
