    3. Color me silly, but doesn't this seem a bit inappropriate for this mailing list? I appreciate Ms. Peck letting us know that she is taking a sabbatical. However, her reasons are political and although I support her right to do as she chooses, her e-mail seems to presume that I-- as a member of this list--share her political position. I do not. Just a thought.
