The intro/notation is as follows: Volume 3, John A. Lowden and Mary Jane Prindle were married 12/20/1865. John petitioned the Court [October 1875] When I received the papers, ALL references to Mary Jane Prindle were written as Mary E. Prindle. I'm also looking for a connection to a man named George Merritt who was a contemporary of both of them and from Greenwich. Is it common for the volume to have an error saying Mary JANE instead of Mary E.? If anyone has any experience or info regarding the above, I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
