He was born about 1794 supposedly in Rhode Island. He married Betsey Sherwood and maybe had another wife. David Tucker died in Stamford, CT on Aug. 2, 1879 and was buried in Dantown Cemetery in Pound Ridge, NY. His wife Betsey died in March 1849 according to the New Canaan Congregational Church records.
