    3. Would anyone be glad if I set up a statewide Connecticut list or should it be splintered into counties? The county lists are more dead than alive. Consider it if all counties are consolidated, increasing good postings? I did this approach for German lists (I owned since 1996 until snatched by Ancestry, turning me into list-admin) , consolidating all 5 major lists into one and the end result is more active than the separate lists. Bundesland- very very dead: Trier-Roots - occasionally a single post every few days; Prussia-Roots one or 2 per week - PR used to be super busy until Ancestry screwed up the servers and backups; German-Kingdoms, bit more alive than dead Bundesland; Bavaria, occasionally David Samuelsen
