    3. George, There is a current Methodist church which arose from some of the Dantown Methodist church congregation - umcofnewcanaan.org. Perhaps they know about these early records. The Ctstatelibrary.org is always a good source for surviving early church records. A recent issue of "Connecticut Ancestry" journal (Nov. 2019) - connecticutancestry.org - briefly discusses Dantown as a district mostly now submerged under the Laurel Reservoir. It was at the Stamford/New Canaan border, just south of the NY state line.
