Born in Bridgeport, she was a resident of Stratford for over 50 years. She was a retired salesman for Waldenbooks in Trumbull. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Laura Yurch of Guilford; sisters, Pauline Peterson of Stratford and Anne Ehret of Fairfield; grandchildren, Kenneth R. Yurch and Kristine Carney; and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Melissa Ann Carney. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Yurch. Funeral services took place Nov. 2 at St. James Church with a Mass of Christian burial. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. The Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, was in charge of the arrangements.
