I am a newcomer to this list, and I am in the process of tracing my Frost ancestors back. I am trying to get some documentation for each fact, plus as many historical facts about their lives and era so that I can write a family story. I believe that Abner Frost b. 1695 in Fairfield, md. Rebecca Hall 1723, d. 1778 in New Jersey is my direct ancestor. In his will written 1775 he named his son Jedediah and his grandson Josiah. I am looking for documentation of Abner's birth and marriage, and that his Jedediah is the father of the Josiah b. 1743 who settled in Allegany Co., MD around 1783. Can anyone give me some references to documentation on this? I hve received two or three versions of the Frost family line back to William Frost in England, but I find that they vary, are undocumented, and in places, quite wrong. Also, information about the lives and times of the Frosts and their community would help me put my family story together. Thanks for any help you can provide, Charnee
