Bleeks, died Saturday at Norwalk Hospital. Born on April 16, 1921, in New York City, he was the son of Elizabeth Fehr Bleeks. He was a master sheet metal worker with Union Local 38. He was a paratrooper during World War II. He was a Mason with the Old Well Masonic Lodge and a member of the Eagles, Home 588. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Purciello of Monroe, Abby Santos of Seymour, and Claire Stallings and Kathleen Ziegler, both of Norwich, Vt.; one son, Thomas Fletcher Bleeks Jr. of Norwalk; two brothers, William Bleeks of Norwalk and Gilbert Bleeks of New York City; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
