Bergman, died Tuesday at Danbury Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on March 6, 1962, the daughter of Al Karpinski of Fairfield and the late Barbara Karpinski, she was a resident of Danbury for the past 14 years. She was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School, attended the Stamford branch of the University of Connecticut and received a bachelor's degree from Wichita Falls University. She was a former medical and radiology technician in the Danbury area for many years. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include sisters, Lauren Karpinski-DeSiena and her husband, Brian, of West Haven and Daryl Sorge and her husband, Anthony, of Trumbull; a brother, Christopher Karpinski of Shelton; nephews, Anthony and Daniel Sorge; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and William Bergman of New Milford. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial today at 8:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury.
