Born in Norwalk on Aug. 26, 1943, he was the son of Alvie Williams and Robert Massey. He was a self-employed maintenance man. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Valerie Adams of Bridgeport and Denise Massey of Norwalk; five brothers, Thomas Massey of New York and James Massey, Leonard Massey, Alfred Massey and Curtis Massey, all of Stratford; nine sisters, Mar-lene Thompson, Barbara Oliver, Patricia Gilmore, Linda Wilson, Alfreda Massey, Joyce Boyd, Mary Massey and Shavonne Wil-liams, all of Norwalk, and Felicia Massey of Stamford. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jeffery Massey, Richard Massey, Eugene Massey and Fredrick Massey. Funeral services took place Wednesday at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church.
