Thomas married Abigail Hoyt. They had 10 little Benedicts, one of which was Hannah (Anna) from whom I take my descent. The picture of MANY Benedicts all in Fairfield County and, in and around Bethel/Danbury is a correct one. There were also a plethora of Taylors, Barnums, Starrs, Dibbles, Along with several Davises -- all in the time frame 1720-1800. I have the impression that these families intermarried more than once.
