My John Purcell was born in St. Alphonse, Quebec, Canada in 1864. He came to the United States with his parents and other family members around 1880. They settled for a short time in Enfield, CT. Parents were John Purcell and Mary (Hannon) Purcell. Mary (Hannon) Purcell died in Enfield, CT. in 1881. John (Father) left his children in CT. and he came to MN.
