    1. [CTFAIRFI] Re: Matha Tompkins
    2. Thanks bunches for your message, I am extremely grateful for your response. I see now that I have to set up for notification. I thought it would be automatic. I am somewhere between Mr. Low Tech & Mr. No Tech and I have no one to teach me how these boards work, so I will always be going through a learning process. My mother, Rachael Isobell Rundall was born Oct 17, 1910 between Tolley & Greene in the old Imperial-Ward Township of Renville County, ND. The property had been homesteaded by her parents. In some places it states that she was born in Central City, Iowa but that was not the case. She married my father, Milo Melvin clayton, Feb 1 1940 at Burlington, Iowa. It was the second marriage for each of them. They moved to Detroit where they lived until the mid 1940's, when they moved back to Illinois where they had each lived during the 1930's. she had two children: Me - born Milo Melvin Clayton, Jr. (I legally changed my name during the 1970's after I became so absorbed by our genealogy) at Detroit Oct 17 1942. I now live at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. My brother William Henry Clayton was born at Detroit October 14 1943, he now lives at Mapleton, Illinois. We are in the Rundall book, my Aunt Grace (Edna Grace Hunter) was the widow of Marvin Rundall, brother of my mother & she provided the information, most of it correctly. You ask if I have enough information on the Rundalls? Not to sound like a smart aleck, which I am basically not, but I could never have enough information re: the family. Mother died May 22 1956 in Peoria County, IL of cervical cancer. I think I may overcompensate for her early death by being more attentive re: research for her side of the family. My dad died July 1970 at Peoria, Peoria County, IL. I never remember the date but have ordered a copy of his death cert. so I will have it. Great to be in touch with you, I can send my line back if you like, to see if it more or less agrees with your line, and vica versa. I will have to send it by FAX or by snail mail because I do not know how to send attachmentts by email. I would love to plug in your line and determine exactly what our cousinship is. Later.
