    1. [CTFAIRFI] Re: Matha Tompkins
    2. Thanks for your message. I don't know why I have not received it, but saw the fact that you did respond on the message board. I'm terribly sorry for the delay. I have a fair amount of genealogy for the Rundalls. As noted, my mother died while I was quite small, so most of the data has been accumulated the hard way. I do believe in sharing and will be happy to provide whatever I have, just give me your connection please so that I will know where to start (or stop). I've not received any other response or information for this family since having posted the query, so what I have for these families will pertain to the newer generations, but I plan to correct that when I get enough information for the older lines to 'work' them properly. I know that there were 2 Tompkins families which went to Jones County, Iowa in the early 1850's, mine and another. I'm as sure as I can be (without knowing for sure) that they were connected, but haven't proven it. I am 58 years old and live in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. My mother, Rachael, was born 1910 on the Rundall homestead (her parents really did obtain it by homestead rights) in North Dakota, moved back to Jones County & then to Linn County, IA where she grew up. She came to Illinois, where I was born, in the early 1930's and eventually married my father, after they had each been previously married. I'll be happy to share information with you, I just need to know where you fit in, so that I can send the appropriate information. I don't know to send email attachments, so will have to send it by FAX or by snail mail, I don't mind at all. It's your choice. Thanks a Lot.
