Lavinia Warren is buried in Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport CT 06604. It is in the older section, and is opposite the monument for P. T. Barnum. At the present time the house which "Tom Thumb" reportedly built for them at the time of their marriage in 1863 and which he sold to his mother in 1868 when they moved to MA is in danger of being demolished for a shopping center, and there is a group trying to get it moved out of the way and restored. I have been in the house, and it is remarkably intact for having been so badly abused by the last tenants. The house was divided into four apartments.
