    3. Ms. Cardinal, While I don't see a direct match, it may pay to keep in touch, as my Hylands were from Dublin as well. My Julia Ann Hyland was born in Dublin in 1828 to Andrew Hyland and Elizabeth Moore. Andrew's father was George Hyland. The family home was where the courthouse currently stands. Julia had several siblings, among them Patrick Hyland (who was adopted, had a dyeing business (in Stamford?)), George (who had a construction company in Stamford), Thomas (who had a dairy in Plainfield, NJ), William (who had a grocery store), James, Joseph, Catherine, Mary, Elizabeth, and Emma. Andrew died young. The older boys brought the rest of the family to the US. (To Stamford?) Mother Elizabeth died the next winter, and Catherine, John, and Joseph died soon afterwards. For those on the Hyland-L list: Does these names/jobs sound familar to anyone? For those on the Fairfield County list: Are there any cemetary listings for Fairfield Co. that could provide time of death for Elizabeth, Catherine, James, or Joseph? Could any of the businesses mentioned be listed anywhere? Thanks!
