Hi I have been tracing my ancestors and got the direct family line going back to 1625 so far. I have been chased by sheep in churchyards, nettled and torn clothing on brambles. Sat in cold dark rooms going over records. When one weekend thanks to Ellis Island I discovered my 2x Great grandmother with a daughter we knew nothing about visiting a son & family again we knew nothing of in Bridgeport. I would love to come to the USA to search your records but my husband does not share my passion of Family trees, and I also have my mother with alzheimer's.( who would look after her) so I asked if there was any Kind souls who could help find a family who set their roots there. I have lost count of the times I have searched our records even searches headstones for the inscription to help people from USA, Australia and Canada find their roots.
