Ct Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ct/Fairfield/13242 Surname: CONFROY, CONFREY, HOUGH ------------------------- I have a partial copy of a page taken from a listing of deeds in Danbury, CT in the mid-1800s. I don't know what all of the columns represent, but I've posted one of the line items below: Col.1: Confrey, Edward (I assume he is the grantor) Col.2: Keaough, Patrick (this is probably the grantee) Col.3: 49 (don't know) Col.4: 481 (don't know) Col.5: Q.C. (abbrev.for quitclaim) Col.6: May (date) Col.7: 9 " Col.8: 1861 " It appears that my ancestor, Edward Confrey, is listed 6 times as grantor, for various deeds, including "War.", "Mort." and "Q.C.". Can anyone tell me if it's worth trying to secure copies of these deeds and how to obtain same? Thanks. Linda
